Berichtje van Nadia Cilliers, wijnmaakster bij Newton Johnson:"I am very happy the L’illa is doing so well, we are also very happy with the 2007 in barrel and tank. Depending on the blending, we should look at bottling the 2007 in June 2008. We were at Eilandia over the weekend and the vineyard is looking good this year. It has finished flowering now (it is much earlier than here!) so we will see how it turns out. We usually only pick the Chenin blanc in early April, so it still has some way to go."
